Ⅰ、How to absorb oxygen
When the general patients or healthy people absorb oxygen as health care, its flow should be adjusted as 1-1.5L/min or so and oxygen absorption time every time should be 10-20 minutes and the total time every day should not be over 1 hour. When salving the critically ill, larger oxygen flow (4-5L/min) should be applied or adjusted appropriately according to personal requirements.
In order to alleviate discomfort of dry oxygen on human, when using humidifier (Drawing 4), screw up the cover and add clean water (purified water, distilled water and cool boiled water) into water cup till the water level and then screw it down. According to inlet and outlet sign (arrowhead) and your humidifier model, correctly connect oxygen absorption apparatus referring to constitutional diagram and connect ear hook and nasal obstruction with oxygen absorption apparatus. Open oxygen supply handwheel and flow handwheel (as the flow adjustment device of double-meter or dolly-type oxygen absorption apparatus has certain free stroke and flow handwheel owns larger swivelling range so that the oxygen can flow out) and you can see that there are some air bubble in water cup of humidifier which denotes the humidifier has worked (adjust single-meter flow meter and pay attention to the corresponding scale value of floater upper level inside flow meter) and pull on ear hook and place nasal obstruction in nasal cavity according to personal demand for oxygen and then you can absorb oxygen.
When finishing absorbing oxygen, please close oxygen supply handwheel firstly and then close flow handwheel after finger of oxygen pressure meter returns to zero. Clean up the nasal obstruction and pour out the water in humidifier and slightly screw them for storage and standby application after finishing oxygen therapy every time.
Ⅱ、How to oxygenate?
(1)Single-meter aluminum bottle and steel bottle oxygenation (See constitutional diagram 5)
Screw the big nut of oxygen bridge on the oxygen resource (big oxygen bottle) and small nut on oxygen absorption apparatus and then screw off switch of oxygen resource (big oxygen bottle). At this point, finger of oxygen pressure meter 3 shows the oxygen pressure of oxygen resource (big oxygen bottle). Then open oxygen supply handwheel and flow handwheel of oxygen absorption apparatus slowly to start oxygenating. When oxygenating, oxygen bottle will warm up at some extent and it is the normal physical phenomenon occurring when gas compresses. When oxygen pressure meter finger 3 stops ascending, it shows that it has been filled up. Generally considered, reaching up to 10Mp means filled up. If pressure is lower than 10Mp, oxygen resource of higher pressure should be replaced to renew oxygenating to let the pressure reach 10Mp or above. Firstly close the switch of oxygen resource (big oxygen bottle) and then close oxygen supply handwheel and flow handwheel of oxygen supply apparatus and discharge the oxygen absorption apparatus finally.
(2)Double-meter aluminum bottle and steel bottle oxygenation (See constitutional diagram 6)
Screw down oxygen supply plug screw of oxygen supply apparatus with special wrench, screw big nut of oxygen bridge on oxygen resource (big oxygen bottle) and small nut on oxygen supply interface and then screw off switch of oxygen resource (big oxygen bottle). At this point, finger of oxygen pressure meter 12 shows the oxygen pressure of oxygen resource (big oxygen bottle). Then open oxygen supply handwheel 8 and flow handwheel 9 of oxygen absorption apparatus slowly to start oxygenating. When oxygenating, oxygen bottle will warm up at some extent and it is the normal physical phenomenon occurring when gas compresses. When finger 12 of oxygen pressure meter stops ascending, the bottle is filled up. Generally considered, reaching up to 10Mp means filled up. If pressure is lower than 10Mp, oxygen resource of higher pressure should be replaced to renew oxygenating to let the pressure reach 10Mp or above. When finishing oxygenating, firstly close the switch of oxygen resource (big oxygen bottle) and then close oxygen supply handwheel 8 and flow handwheel 9 of oxygen supply apparatus and discharge the oxygen absorption apparatus and screw down oxygen supply plug screw finally.
Discharge the flow regulating valve with special wrench and screw the nuts of two ends of oxygen bridge on oxygen supply valves of big and small oxygen bottles. Then screw them down (when use oxygen bridge at the first time, please stretch spiral part of oxygen bridge at appropriate length and should avoid dog leg of oxygen bridge. AS the nuts of two ends of oxygen bridge are the same, they can be used mutually. After using them, please don't try to renew the oxygen bridge to its former shape and change its shape as well, to avoid damage caused by many times of bending) and slowly screw off oxygen supply valve of big oxygen bottle and oxygen absorption apparatus. At this point, you can hear fizzle owing to oxygen flowage. When this sound stops, it means oxygenation has finished. At this time, please close big oxygen bottle and oxygen absorption valve and then discharge oxygen bridge and install flow regulator finally.
Ⅲ、Processing Method of Frequent Problems
(1)How to deal with this kind of situation that plug of oxygen-absorption fittings connects too loose with the pipe?

When oxygenating, oxygen pressure of oxygen supply apparatus can only reach pressure of oxygen resource maximally. But generally, the maximum pressure of oxygen resource is 13Mp approximately and it will descend continuously along with continuous oxygenation and oxygenated oxygen bottle will descend further after cooling down.

When conditions is not provided, you don't need to pursue pressure of 15Mp but for the just oxygenated oxygen supply apparatus, the oxygen pressure of its oxygen bottle should not be lower than 10Mp. Otherwise, it is generally considered that it hasn't been filled fully. If adopting oxygen filling pump to oxygenate, the pressure will be higher. |
(6)Why the oxygen pressure meter can't display zero when oxygen supply apparatus is not used?

Notices
When oxygenating, the pressure is not allowed to exceed 15Mp.
Filling non-medical oxygen and other gases is strictly prohibited.
Oxygen absorption apparatus is strictly prohibited from oil stain, striking and should be kept far away from kindling, inflammable and explosive substance and should avoid to contact corrosive gas and liquid and long-time strong sunshine should be avoided as well.
Disassembling privately is strictly prohibited and please send it to manufacturing unit or maintenance station for maintaining timely when oxygen absorption apparatus breaks down.
State standard stipulates that every 3 years the oxygen bottle should be inspected on pressure and at the appointed time please contact with the company and local pressure container testing unit.
To keep purity of medical oxygen, oxygen pressure of oxygen absorption apparatus should remain over-bottom pressure at 0.1-1Mp. Please don't use them up otherwise you should replace before oxygenating.
